On the reverse it is marked " Wedgwood" & has a letter " L " as well as an old fashioned 9ct gold hallmark. I have tried to date the item, but in all honest it is a nightmare. I have uploaded a picture to show datter letters with this listing.
Accoring to all the websites I have searched the word "Wedgwood" was used upto 1891 & then changed to " Wedgwood England" & this piece is simply marked "Wedgwood". It has a letter "L" which according to wedgwood sites & the picture I have included date the piece to 1883? To be perfectly honest I can't believe it is that old, but who knows? I would have said it was 1960's to 1970's? So please do your own research & let me know if you would be so kind, as it will not affect the price or my decission to sell, I would simply just like to know.
The pendant measures 40 mm in drop length including the top ring. The weight is 5.8 grams.
