1830's Blue Dip, Lady Templeton Design. This listing is for a beautiful antique Wedgwood jasperware tea set, consisting of a teapot, a slop bowl, a creamer and a covered sugar bowl. These are a rare form that I have not seen by Wedgwood in jasper before. They are a deep blue dip on white stoneware with white relief figures after designs by Lady Templetown (Domestic Employments) and Emma Crewe.
The handle of the teapot has been repaired and the lid of the teapot has a few chips (see close-up photos) but apart from that this set is perfect with no other damage or repairs/restoration. The teapot measures 7-3/8" long (handle to spout) and 5-1/8" high (to top og handle). The slop bowl measures 7-1/8" across and 3-1/4" high. Please excuse any glares (white patches) that you may see in the pictures, these are caused by reflections of light on the glaze and are not on the actual object itself.
