Wedgwood Primrose Yellow & Black Jasperware 2003 WGC-NEC Golf Trophy LTD ED 120

  

Description: An excellent limited edition piece of Wedgwood Jasper ware, made in the early 00s as a trophy for a golf tournament. As it's limited to a run of 120, I suspect these were participation trophies given to everyone who was invited to play. I'm handled a number of these over the years, and they produced a different shape each year, always decorated with the same relief decoration of golfers on the side.

It was made for the WGC-NEC Invitational in 2003. The bowl is in solid Primrose yellow asper, decorated with black relief and gilding. Size: 7.675" in diameter, 4" tall, 3.375 in diameter at the foot. Mark: Usual impressed Wedgwood marks. Gold printed mark states that this is #76 of a limited edition of 120. Condition: Fine, no wear or damage. Slight soiling to bottom edge of foot.
