Wedgwood 21 piece blue and white jasperware tea set, glazed interior

  
This virtually unused teaset dates from 1955/6, the insides of the cups, teapot , milk jug and covered sugar bowl are all glazed, as was usual at the time. The full size teapot, to serve six, is highly decorated with equisite detail around the handle (the same detail is round the jug handle also) and on the lid. The sugar bowl has a lid in the same style as the teapot lid and a small hadle on either side. The cake plate is a later addition to the set and is highly decorated (more suited to fairy cakes than a victoria sponge). All pieces are in excellent condition, no chips, cracks or damage to the white relief moulding.
