A Victorian cobalt blue Wedgwood jasperware vase. This has the date letters BOM, the year being 1884. The only flaw to the blue coating is a small fleck just below the central vine ring swag seen in last photo, in superb condition for age.
The main photo shows a couple of white flecks that did wash off, please see enhanced image of harp section. No chips, cracks or restorations, a nice early piece of jasperware. Really interesting scene with various characters, one holding a head. Height 18cm, diameter 9.3cm, base diameter 7cm, top rim diameter 3cm.
