In 1860 Wedgwood created a new dating system for their wares starting with the letter "O" and then repeated every 26 years. I've researched this on several sites including Wikipedia and they each state this dating system. My research revealed that in 1860 Wedgwood started using a 3 digit coding system. The first digit indicated the month, the second digit indicated the potter, and the third digit indicated the year the piece was made.
As you can see from my picture this piece has the three (3) digits. The 3rd symbol dates this piece to 1861. I have owned this pot for many years but now would like to part with it as I have other interests and would like for someone else to enjoy the set as I have. Please let me know if you have any questions or if you want additional pictures.
Also please know that this isn't my full time job so if you ask a question it may take me some time to respond.
