The Bind Man's Buff Vase is decorated with a relief portraying children enjoying a game of'Blind Man's Buff' this blue Jasper vase has a finial featuring a seated cupid with doves and a quiver of arrows. The original'Blind Man's Buff' designed was modelled by John Flaxman jnr in 1782 in response to Josiah Wedgwood's request for'some groups of children proper for the bas relief to decorate the sides of Tea pots.
The vase was produced exclusively for members of The Wedgwood International Society. The urn vase is stamped "Wedgwood Made in England".The urn vase has been previously owned and is very good condition. It comes with its original box.
