Wedgwood blue Jasperware trumpet round vase Greek Roman Neoclassical scenes
Beautiful Neoclassical Wedgwood Jasperware large footed vase of a round, trumpet form. Light blue ground with matte interior and exterior. The body is ornately decorated with bas-relief depictions of Greek figures around a sacrifice bowl on one side and Cupid on a pedestal on the other, both scenes separated by trees, and all finished with a repeating band of white applied leaves border underneath. Elegant and highly decorative piece!
