Blue Jasperware The American Presidents Plate - Limited Edition No 584. The Presidents Plate is a limited edition plate produced by Wedgwood in pale blue and white jasper. This distinctive plate was produced in 1976 to mark the American Bicentennial (1776 - 1976) by honouring the first 37 Presidents of The United States of America, from George Washington inaugurated in 1789 to Gerald Rudolf Ford who was sworn in on 9th August 1974.

The plate bears hand-applied portraits in bas-relief of 37 Presidents of The United States. The plate has a special blue backstamp which includes a list of names for each portrait.

The plate is limited from a numbered edition of 3,000. A limited edition certificate is included for number 584 along with information pamphlet and Wedgwood box.
