Wedgwood Blue Jasper Ware DANCING HOURS + FRIBOURG & TREYER Lidded Jar - Commemorating the 250th anniversary of the shop - Limited Edition of 500? Base depicts 2x Dancing Hours Maidens + 2x Fribourg & Treyer Shop front designs - divided by abstract designs - base is stamped Wedgwood Made in England 70 BH N and has printed gold "Fribourg and Treyer 1720 - 1970" (faded and faint) - The lid also has an image of the shop front on it. Fribourg & Treyer were a world famous supplier of Snuff & Turkish Tobacco dating back to 1720. Their shop was based in Haymarket London England and is still their as a protected List Building although the company stopped trading in 1981.

A pprox Size - 7cm/2.75" across base - 10.75cm/4.25" tall. Good condition, No chips, cracks or repairs - although the gold printing on the base is faded and faint from age (see photos).
