Wedgwood, Antique Victorian Blue Jasperware Plaque Roundel, Three Graces, Framed

  

An antique blue jasperware roundel / plaque / medallion in antique frame with ormulu (gilt bronze) mounts. The scene is three graces, one of Wedgwood's most popular designs. Marked WEDGWOOD to the back. As it doesn't have a date mark it might date from pre-1860, which is also when similar dated pictures using this type of frame was made. An antique used item with wear commensurate with age in good condition.

Plaque - Some light build up of debris from age. Frame - The backing board to the frame has separated from the frame where it hinges. Wear to the board and light surface wear to the edges of the frame.

I will provide some paper tape to secure the plaque. The plaque will need to manually be inserted into the frame as I do not want to transport the plaque next to the glass in transit.
