Old Antique Blue Wedgwood Jasperware Jasper Dip Creamer Circa 1781
This old Wedgwood Blue Jasperware/Jasper dip Creamer Jug bears the impressed Wedgwood mark that was used starting in 1781 and prior to the three letter dating system. The mark is irregular & not in a straight line - There are bas relief images of "Sacrifice to Ceres" "Cupid on Pedestal" "Floral Girl" Trees & Flowering shrubs - Garlands surround the spout & handle - Measurements are 5 1/2" handle to spout - Height is 3" to top of handle - Glazed, clean interior - No chips - no cracks - I have not seen any loss to the relief work, but since it's an 18th century piece please examine all the pictures carefully in case I've missed something.
