An antique Wedgwood Portland blue dip lidded tooth powder box or pot, the lid decorated with a neoclassical scene of maidens attending to a winged horse, presumably Pegasus. Impressed marks to the underside; probably produced within the decade either side of 1900. " / 3.8cm; Lid diameter 3 ¼" / 8.3cm. Good condition, light wear and a couple of small flakes off the inside edge of the lid and a small, shallow chip on the edge of the base's rim. Minor imperfections aside, it displays beautifully.
