A Collection of Ten Wedgwood Jasperware Christmas Plates 1970-1978 21 cm Boxed

  

Ten vintage Wedgwood Jasperware Christmas plates in pale lavender blue plate with hand applied white bas on the blue jasper (please note that the colour of the plates varies to some degree with the tone produced in some of the photographs). Nine of the plates are 8 ¼ (21 cm) in diameter and the 1969-78 Anniversary plate is 24 cm in diameter. The plates are all in excellent condition with no damage or repairs and are each is housed in its original box with a leaflet. Three of the plates come with plastic stands.

The Christmas plates were produced each year from 1969 after which the mould was destroyed and no further models made. The collection includes the plates for 1970: Christmas in Trafalgar Square; 1971: Piccadilly Circus; 1972: St. Please note that the wooden stands do not form part of the sale.
