For your consideration we offer a beautiful Wedgwood Victorian Jasperware Biscuit Barrel. It is the Lilac Jasperware in Jasper Dip. Fully marked on the bottom with the impressed Wedgwood mark & just England. This piece is from the late 1800's.

It is in mint condition with no chips, cracks nor repairs. It has a beautiful silver plate Bail & Handle with a terrific Finial on the lid. The Barrel measures 6" tall to the top of the finial by 5 1/4" in dia across the top opening.

The silver is also marked under the lid with its hallmark. The color is about the best we have ever seen in Antique Lilac.

The figures all hand applied, are just exceptional with fine detail in the raised relief. Please check out our pictures for a better visual description.
