Wedgwood Jasperware Honey Pot and Lid with Butterfly RARE

  

This is a rare Wedgwood honey pot in a dark chocolate color. It is complete with its swizzle stick (please note the photos show the swizzle stick upside down in the pot). It features bees as well as a few BUTTERFLIES!

To date, no other examples have been found that have the butterflies. There is some thought that it may be a'one-off' or one of a very, very few. We've been in contact with Wedgwood experts and apparently no record can be found to indicate how many were made.

This is the only one known to be decorated with the butterflies. Examples without the butterflies are known to exist and are also exceedingly rare or hard-to-find. 5.5" high 4.5" in diameter. It is in mint condition.
