A beautiful Blue Jasperware Centaur Chiron and Achilles Twin Handled Vase With Flower Frog. A Wedgwood blue jasperware twin handled vase featuring white bas-reliefs depicting Centaur Chiron and Achilles complete with a flower frog. Decorated with Neo Classical Scenes depicting Thetis delivering Achilles to Centaur and Achilles on the back of Centaur hunting the Lion. Complete with pierced Flower Frog. The vase measures approximately 5 1/2 inches in diameter plus the handles at the widest point and stands around 5 inches tall plus the handles.

The flower frog measures approximately 4 1/4 inches in diameter. The vase is impressed on the base "Wedgwood Made in England". The flower frog is not impressed. Ex-shop stock the item is new in it's silk lined presentation box and has never been displayed. Box is perfect too as it has been covered with a dust sleeve.
