Wedgwood Blue on Portland Blue Jasper Ware & Silver Queen Silver Jubilee Lidded Jug - STUNNING. Limited edition of just 400 pieces - with Original Wedgwood Box and Certificate showing this is number 309. Fantastic Jug with a bust of H M Queen Elizabeth with garlands around her and a banner reading "1952 Silver Jubilee 1977" on the reverse side there is her royal initial "E II R" with a crown above and garlands around and also has a banner reading "1952 Silver Jubilee 1977" - There is a vine border around the top and leaf borders around the handle which has a rope effect through it. All design work in Pale Blue on the Portland Blue base jug. Hinged lid is silver coloured metal (Sheffield plated) and stamped 151 and also has an engraved handle - base of jug is stamped Wedgwood Made in England 77 H 30 - and is also printed in gold lettering "To commemorate the silver jubilee of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II 1952 - 1977 Limited edition of 400" - comes with original Wedgwood box and certificate confirming number 309. Size Approximately: 11.5cm/4.5" across to handle - 16.5cm/6.5" high to top of lid. Good condition, no chips, cracks or repairs - box and insert also in good condition.
