Wedgwood Pale Blue Jasperware American State Seals. Commemorating the Bicentennial of American Independence. Each of these sets in the series, portrays the seal of one of the Original Thirteen States which supported the Declaration of Independence, and one of the State's Representatives who signed it. Only one edition will be made of each set, production of which will cease with the introduction of the next set. The series will be completed by 1976.

Each set is in the form of Compotiers (fruit dish). Approx size of each dish is 4.5.

Set No 1 : The Commonwealth of Virginia & Jefferson. Set No 2 : The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania & Franklin. Set No 3 : The Commonwealth of Massachusetts & Hancock.

Set No 4 : The Commonwealth of New York & Livingstone. Set No 5 : The Commonwealth of New Jersey & Witherspoon.

Set No 6 : The Commonwealth of New Hampshire & Bartlett. Set No 7 : The Commonwealth of Delaware & Rodney. Set No 8 : The Commonwealth of Maryland & Chase. Set No 9 : The Commonwealth of Georgia & Hall. Set No 10 : The Commonwealth of North Carolina & Hewes.

Set No 11 : The State of South Carolina & Rutledge. Set No 12 : The State of Rhode Island & Hopkins. Set No 13 : The State of Connecticut & Sherman.
