Wedgwood Blue Jasper Ware Prince Wales King George IV Large Oval Medallion, 1795

  
Wedgwood pale blue jasperware large oval medallion with sophisticated silhouette portrait of Prince of Wales afterwards King George IV George Augustus Frederick, 1762 1830. Prince Regent: 1811-20; King George IV: 1820-30, wearing the uniform of the Colonel-Commandant (appointed in 1793) of the 10th Light Dragoons (joined in 1783) from the mid-1790s.

Most likely, the medallion was manufactured in 1795 to commemorate the marriage between Prince of Wales and his cousin Princess Caroline of Brunswick. It is in excellent used condition without cracks, chips, repairs, etc. Only minimal age appropriate ware. Please review the posted pics for more details and let us know if you'd like to see more.
