Wedgwood Black Jasperware Commemorative Bicentenary of the death of Josiah Wedgwood Plate - Limited Edition - SIGNED BY LORD WEDGWOOD 1995. Has a central image of Josiah himself with the words in gold coloured lettering Bicentenary. 1795 - 1995 - there is then a border of oak leaves around the central image - on the outer rim there is a raised ridge black jasper design with 13 additional images of Josiah's Acquaintances (see picture of front and back for full details) - the back of the plate is Printed in Gold lettering with the details of the plate and the people on it + confirmation of Limited Edition of 2000 - see pictures - This plate was SIGNED by Lord Wedgwood at the factory in 1995 in gold coloured hand written ink - last back picture. There is also a signed Wedgwood congratulatory note with the plate. A pprox Size - 21cm/8.125 across rim.

Good condition, No chips, cracks or repairs - box worn with age.
