For your consideration: A "Very Large" Beautiful Rare Mint Condition Wedgwood Black Basalt Jasper ware Vase with Frog Insert. This lovely piece has a Fluted Form and a Pedestal Base.

It is decorated with Greek Mythological Scenes. The rim is decorated with a wide detailed floral garland and the pedestal base is decorated with a grapevine border. This very impressive vase measures approximately 7 3/4 in height! The fluted opening is approximately 6 3/4" in diameter and the pedestal base measures approximately 5 1/2" in diameter. DGWOOD MADE IN ENGLAND W 8 which I believe dated it to 1894. This is a substantially sized piece of Wedgwood. There are no chips, cracks or restorations. Thank you for viewing this listing.
