Here we have a stunning vintage pair of Wedgwood jasperware lidded urns/vases. This particular and quite popular patterns is called Dancing Hours is a bolted urn/vase made in England. The urns are a light blue color with an embossed band of acanthus leaves around the shoulder and foot.

The vase features eight of the Dancing Hours around the main body with Bacchus head handles, and they are marked on the bottom, Wedgwood. Made in England with the. Letters and impressed letter A. They are each about 11 tall. The overall condition of the urns are excellent vintage. The exterior and interior surfaces display minimal marks or scratches with the exception of the base bottoms which have normal shelf wear and some remnants of perhaps felt. There are no chips, cracks, or repaired areas. The embossed details look great with no flaking and the white applied pieces have nice white color with one corner or two a little darker perhaps with a cleaning would whiten them. I don't know how to clean this porous porcelain so I will not try to clean these.

In my photos with the light one looks more purple in areas but they are the same color with the same markings on each one. Any collector would be lucky and would love this pair of neoclassical vases. Items I sell are not new. They have been used so do not expect mint condition unless otherwise noted.
