19TH CENTURY WEDGWOOD JASPERWARE JARDINIERE. A fine original early Wedgwood Jasperware. Antique - Dated 1891 - 1897 (Dated by stamp only "ENGLAND" on bottom). The jardinière is topped with beautiful white jasperware decoration done in high relief on a deep blue background.

The jasper dip is done in the form of elegant clusters of grapes and vines supported on traditional lions head masks with scenes of the Muse classical figures below. The rim is adorned with an intricate band of flowers.

Fine white Classical bisque detail. THE PIECE IS MARKED "WEDGWOOD". IT MEASURES 5¼" TALL AND 6" ACROSS THE TOP.. AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE PICS, THE INSIDE HAS RUB MARKS AND STAINS..
