It is a truly magnificent piece created by Wedgwood in recognition of an important mark in the United States history. George Washington was inaugurated as the first president of the United States in 1789 on the balcony of Federal Hall in New York City. The first capital after the American Revolutionary War. A luxury department store and chain, founded in 1865 by Benjamin Altman in New York City. Bowl in in excellent used condition.
