Made in england appears on the base of this wedgewood vase. It was made after 1887, and I can date it to 1872.
Why the letter z and the number 72. Other numbers may be part of the glaze firing process. Older peaces will still be marked. But prior to the exhortation act of 1887. Made In England won't appear.
It is the later 19th century and 20th century peaces that are marked. The flower frog is missing.
