Black Jasperware Medusa Pendant and Chain Boxed. A Wedgwood black jasperware pendant depicting Medusa together with a gold-coloured chain. Medusa from Greek mythology was a monster, a Gorgon, generally described as a winged human female with living venomous snakes in place of hair.

The pendant measures approximately 2 1/2 inches in diameter and the chain measures approximately 28 inches in length. The pendant is stamped on the back "Wedgwood Made in England".
