Black Jasperware Medusa Pendant and Chain Boxed. A Wedgwood black jasperware pendant depicting Medusa together with a gold-coloured chain. Medusa from Greek mythology was a monster, a Gorgon, generally described as a winged human female with living venomous snakes in place of hair. The pendant measures approximately 2 1/2 inches in diameter and the chain measures approximately 28 inches in length.

The pendant is stamped on the back "Wedgwood Made in England". The pendant and chain are in very good condition together with the original presentation box.
