Vintage Wedgwood black and white Jasper engine turned striped vase with Bacchus head handles - a black and white jasperware lidded vase or urn consisting of a border of swags above a striped body on a raised and stepped square foot with a striped lid and acorn finial - completed with fine double curved horned mask head handles to each side. Marked for Wedgwood Made in England (very faint along the circular opening on the base) and AW - overall weight 664grms - dimensions approximately 210mm height including lid x diameter 95mm and diameter including handles 143mm - c.
In very good condition - a couple of areas of yellowing to the lid as shown , and professional restoration to the handles as shown in the photographs, no other chips, cracks, damage or restoration to note. We have not cleaned this item due to the restoration as we did not want to damage the restoration by cleaning however the yellowing etc on the lid may be improved or removed through cleaning should the new owner decide to do so.
