Etruria, Stoke-on-Trent, England, early to mid 19th century, white stoneware body with cane dip, blue jasper bas-relief decoration depicting Ceres and Bacchanalian dancers, includes original unmarked grid for boughs and stems, base impressed "WEDGWOOD, " 6 1/2 x 5 1/2 in. Minor shrinkage cracks and discoloration as made, three flea bite cracks exterior base, minor chip to stoneware base, frog in good condition.
