The top is a two-colour jasperware. It is classically-formed and stands upon a black square base. It is decorated with classical and mourning scenes. Wedgwood & Bentley partnership started in 1768 until 1780 when Bentley died. An extremely Rare piece for collectors.Very heavy for its size. L id is from a later Wedgwood piece. Chip on one corner of the base. T his will be triple wrapped and placed in a box filled with biodegradable pellets for added protection.
