Wedgwood Vintage Jasperware Blue Dip Biscuit Tea Barrel Jar Silver LID

  

Very old and valuable Wedgwood jasperware biscuit jar. Dark blue with white relief of neoclassical design. Silver plated fittings, lid and handle.

The Jasperware barrel in in very good condition with no chips or restorations. Please check pictures closely as they are part of the description. There is much tarnish on the piece and it needs polishing or replating. I have left the silver plate EPNS lid and rim for you to polish so you can see the patina. The biscuit jar measures 6½ inches in diameter by 10¼ inches high including the handle and 5 inches high to the top of the rim.
