Wedgwood National Portrait Gallery Limited Edition Jasper Ware Medallion Set

  

A vintage Wedgwood limited edition set of portrait medallions produced in collaboration with the National Portrait Gallery in London. The set comprises three trays of medallions in a box with a limited edition certificate and booklet. Only 200 of these sets were produced and they were released in 1973, so ownership puts you in a very exclusive club.

The booklet gives some details about the portraits featured in the set. The subjects include; Chaucer, Milton, Queen Victoria and Byron. All three of the trays are shown in the images for you. A lovely set and scarce opportunity to aquire this desirable collection. Medallions all in good order. Box with some wear and aging as expected. Height 15 cms (6 inches) the box Width 36.5 cms (14 1/4 inches) the box Weight 8340 grams (before packing).
