Wedgwood Light Blue Jasper Ware Campana Urn Shaped Vase & Cover

  

A Wedgwood light blue jasper ware campana shaped vase and cover. This is a later 20th century version and the marks to the base date it to 1976. It has the classical Grecian characters style bas relief in white jasper along with decorative mouldings. There are twin handles and the base plinth is square. The vase is joined with the original factory bolts which appear to be in good order and not rusted.

Makers mark to the underside of the plinth. A classic piece of Wedgwood. Body in good order with very minor wear and the odd tiny firing flaw to the bas relief as usual for this period.
