Wedgwood Large Vintage Blue Grey Jasperware Cheese Dome & Stand

  

This is a fabulous Victorian blue grey Wedgwood JASPERWARE large Cheese Dome and Stand. It is a genuine family heirloom and has, all things considered, including many house moves, come through relatively unscathed! It has been looked after with much love but I no longer have room for it & my married children have little interest in antiques, sad to say! If you study the photos you will notice 3 tiny chips and a little damage to the top grapevine. But it remains a stunning piece and show stopper at dinner parties / functions etc..

There are impressed marks to the base. The finial appears to be a hay bail tied with rope? With daisy pattern air holes around it on top. The side surrounding decoration and base stand is of various farm animals, trees, grapevines, oak leaves and acorns, quite a delightful mix!

Overall the height is approximately 9.5" / 24cm with a diameter of 12.5" / 32cm.. Sellers other items are also available.
