Wedgwood Jasperware Green Antique Dancing Hours Devils Heads Pedestal Vase / Urn

SUPERB ANTIQUE WEDGWOOD GREEN JASPERWARE DANCING HOURS PEDESTAL VASE/URN. Here we have a stunning, rare example of dipped green Wedgwood Jasperware in the form of an ornate lidded pedestal vase/urn. The quality urn shows it's eight dancing hours figures in various poses around its centre. Above are two devils heads whose horns form the two urn handles. These are surrounded by a large leaf pattern extending upwards and finally finishing with smaller leaves on the urns lid. There are further leaf motifs below the figures and around the bases.

The extent of detail in the relief is sublime and the whole piece oozes quality. The base of the urn is simply stamped'wedgwood' which I believe would date the urn to pre 1891 however I have found no dating letters stamped. There is a very small chip to the bottom rim of the lid but this cannot be seen when inserted. It also looks as if the finial ball has been glued back on at some point (see pic). This really is a stunning antique piece of wedgwood jasperware which would be a proud possession for any collector.
