Welcome to Antiques & Moore! This listing is for a lovely Wedgwood Jasperware tri-color collector bowl from the limited edition Diceware line. This bowl is the first issue in the Museum Series made by Wedgwood in 1979 and is number 172 of an issue of 500. The bowl is decorated with a floral ribbon bas-relief design below the upper rim with the rest of the bowl's body featuring an engine turned checkerboard design in white and blue with can (yellow) florettes within the white squares. Comes with its COA, however, we do not have the original box.Marked "Museum Series after an original 18th Century design decorated with a diced pattern by the engine turning lathe invented in 1763 by Josiah Wedgwood FRS, Limited edition of 500, Number 172". Measures 3 " high and 8" in diameter. This nice tri-color Diceware bowl is in excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws.
