Wedgwood Blue Jasper Ware Sir Joshua Reynolds John Flaxman Oval Medallion, 1795

  
Wedgwood pale blue jasperware large oval medallion with sophisticated silhouette portrait of Sir Joshua Reynolds 1723-92; famous English portrait painter, the first president of the Royal Academy of Arts, knighted by George III in 1769. , designed by John Flaxman in 1788 and manufactured till the early 1800s. Medallion is mounted in the elegant antique Louis XIV style frame.

We did not examine the plaque out of the frame, but could not spot any defects and/or repairs. Please review the posted pics for more details and let us know if you'd like to see more.
