Rare vintage Wedgwood pale blue jasperware large oval medallion with silhouette portrait of Lord Amherst (Jeffrey Amherst, 1/29/1717 - 8/3/1797; 1st Baron of Amherst, Governor-General of Canada). It was manufactured in 1962, most likely, to commemorate the role of Lord Amherst in capturing Martinique and Cuba in 1762 (200th anniversary).

Cameo is in excellent used condition without cracks, chips, repairs, etc. Only minimal age appropriate ware.
