Vintage Wedgwood Blue Jasper Ware Captain James Cook Oval Medallion

  
Rare vintage Wedgwood pale blue jasperware oval medallion with embossed silhouette portrait of Captain James Cooke (1728-79). It was manufactured in 1993 to commemorate configuration of the Teesside Power Station (opened in 1993, closed in 2013, and demolished in 2015). Cameo is in excellent used condition without cracks, chips, repairs, etc. Only minimal age appropriate ware.
