Very Large Circa 1869 Wedgwood Black Jasperware 8 1/2 Arcadian Spill Vase

For your consideration: A Beautiful Large Antique Wedgwood Black Basalt Jasperware "Arcadian Spill Vase" in wonderful condition! The middle of the vase is adorned with a very ornate floral garland draped from numerous ram's heads.

The top of the cylindrical shaped vase has a very beautiful ornate floral scroll pattern border. The bottom half is decorated with large Acanthus Leaves separated by tall stemmed lilies. This exquisite piece measures approximately 8 1/2 in height. The opening of the vase is 2 3/4" in diameter and the base measures 3 1/4" in diameter.

The bottom is marked: WEDGWOOD X 9 which would date it at 1869. No scuffs, marks, chips or flaws of any kind can be found on this wonderful piece!
