Small Old Wedgwood Black Basalt Jasperware Pedestal Urn Dancing Hours Vase

  
This is a most beautiful piece and fresh from a prominent estate - an old Wedgwood black basalt jasperware with the Dancing Hours pattern. The size of the covered urn is 7 1/4 inches tall and it is in excellent condition for its age with no chips, crazing, or repairs. There are kiln flaws, a small firing separation of the clay on one side of the base and some firing flaws to the white. Some cleaning needed but this is just gorgeous! The subject matter is a group of raised in relief group of women dancing and the bottom is marked Wedgwood. Items I sell are not new. They have been used so do not expect mint condition unless otherwise noted.
