Antique Three Tier Jasperware style Cake Stand
This is an attractive and rare three tier cake stand. The Jasperware style plates in a lovely shade of Wedgwood blue are decorated with angels and cherubs and fit snugly on to the silver plated stand. We have owned the cake stand for around fifty years and we believe it to date around 1900 having been gifted first to an uncle in the early part of the twentieth century and then left to us in the late 1960s. We have visited numerous antiques and collectors fairs over the years and have never come across a similar item.
The overall size of the stand is width 22cm x height 38cm and the diameter of the plates is approximately 15 cm. Please let me know if you require any further details and thank you for looking.
