For your consideration: A Beautiful Antique Wedgwood Black Basalt Jasperware Creamer and open Sugar Bowl. The embossed design on these beautiful pieces depicts symbols from the 4 home nations- Wales (harp), Ireland (shamrock), England (rose) and Scotland (thistle).
Both pieces are rare and old and were well cared for throughout the years. The Creamer measures approximately 3 3/4 in height. The width of the pitcher is approximately 4 1/4" from Handle to Spout and the base measures 2" in diameter. The bottom is marked: WEDGWOOD 48 C which dates it at 1874. It is NOT marked "Made in England" or "England" which was used after 1891 McKinley Tariff Act.
The Open Sugar Bowl measures approximately 2" in height and 4" in diameter. The bottom is marked: WEDGWOOD 54. No chips, cracks or restorations can be found on the Creamer. The Open Sugar Bowl has a tiny chip on the upper rim which is barely noticeable. Have a Great Time Ebaying!
